Synchronics Extended Features [DynamicWeb]

Synchronics Extended Features has the flexibility required bymanufacturers, retailers, and wholesalers. Features include KitProcessing and Lot Control.Kit Processing specifies the parent product and a list of components.Kit Model specifies which components are used, how many are used, whichcomponents allow quantity variations during sale or assembly, and whichcomponents print on the customer's invoice. The flexible setup functionsinclude the ability to copy a new kit model from an existing kit. KitModel supports any inventory item up to 999 components. Special supportis provided for non-inventoried components, such as labor and overhead.At assembly, kit inventory is increased and component inventory isdecreased. Reports highlight this and all accounting distributions aremade. Extended Features can also dissemble a kit and create components.Serial number tracking can be used for an assembled kit, and individualserial numbers for multiple components.Lot Control features are useful to sell and track multiple colors orsizes within a single product. Information for each lot includes on-hand balance date of first receipt and the total quantity received andsold.
